Back in Time for Wine

Presented by Emma Lowe

Back in the 80s, do you remember what you did every third Thursday of November?

Did you order your wine in only three varieties: red, white and rose?

Did your wine bottle double up as a candle stick?

We're going to look back at the wine fashions of the 80s, and although some of these wines have a bad reputation today some of the old familiar brands are still available. No I'm not going to serve you Blue Nun, we are going to look at the grape varieties which went out of fashion two decades ago to see if they are worth a revival or best left in the past.
