A sparkler to start with, appley, fizzy. 

 

White 

 

Vernaccia di San Gimignano, 2011, Passoni, DOCG, 12.5% 

One of the few elegant white wines of Tuscany. Tangy, creamy, nutty. 

                                                                             

Red

Il Sodero, Sangiovese, Cabernet ,2008, Tenuta Moraia, Toscana, 13% 

The basic grape of Tuscany, Sangiovese, is often allied with Cabernet Sauvignon

San Gimignano, Sangiovese, 2009, Passoni, 13.5% 

A more elegant red based on the Sangiovese grape

Morellino di Scansano, 2011, Poggioargentiera, DOC, 13.5% 

Sangiovese grape with a taste of fresh cherries, slightly peppery.

Spolverino Toscano, 2010/11, Carpineto, 13.5%  

A higher quality red based on the Sangiovese grape

Rosso di Montepulciano, 2010, Poliziano, DOC, 14% 

A blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia. Young,intense,fruity.

Rosso di Montalcino, 2010, Il Poggone, DOC, 14% 

From the Brunello clone of Sangiovese, cinnamon, plummy taste

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano La Ciarliana, 2007, DOCG, 14.5%
