Prosecco Veneto North East Italy DOCG 2012  Lidl £7.29

Glara grape, golden colour, floral bouquet, fruit on palate, dry.

 

2.   

Rotes Haus  Gruner Veltliner 2012  Naked Wines £17.99

Spicy, exotic fruit character with a hint of a mineral edge.

 

3.    

Ogier La Lauvignière Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc £17.18

Pale yellow and clear.  Elements of white flowers, citrus and peach notes shine in the nose.  Full and fleshy with an excellent long finish.

 

4.  

Vina Ludy Albarino Morrisons £7.99

Crisp, fresh and dry, bursting with teeth-tingling acidity. This zesty white is bursting with tropical flavours with hints of lime and pineapple creating a gorgeous zingy flavour. This wine goes perfectly with seafood and tapas.

Torres Vina Sol  Majestic £7.99

This wine is full of big fruit flavours with a mandarin zest. The Parellada grape gives this big Spanish easy drinking wine lashings of sun-kissed fruit flavours. This is all wrapped up with a citrus finish. Enjoy with rice dishes and paella.

Barton & Guestier Reserve Pinot Noir Morrison’s £8.99       

A fresh, light Corsican wine, full of summer fruit. It goes well with tuna. This Pinot Noir is light, fresh and delightfully fruity that it matches well with rare tuna as well as more traditional meat dishes. It works well on its own, too.

St Chinian Michel Roudier 2011 Languedoc-Roussillon  Macro £5.88

This wine from NW Bezier Herault Vallee du Rhone is an exciting blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mouvedre and Carignan Grapes.

Vacqueyras Cellier St Jean 2011 Southern Rhone  Lidl £7.99

This wine is deep red in colour with a spicy and dry finish. A balances mix of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan Grapes.
